ClaireQuarium dedication at Woods Library Branch
Valente family donates aquarium in memory of daughter Claire
On June 28, 2018 a special dedication ceremony was held at the Grosse Pointe Public Library's Woods Branch to honor Claire Valente. Her family donated a custom L-shaped fish tank to the branch in memory of their 19-year-old daughter who passed away in 2016.
Claire loved the ocean and the special L-shape was created to surround her and give her the feeling of being near the ocean. Make A Wish Foundation made Claire's dream come true by giving her the aquarium for her room.
