Dramatic Design + Stellar Services

The Woods Branch Library opened in January 2006, replacing the library branch at Parcells Middle School. The Woods Branch features a see-through fireplace , a freshwater aquarium, and a floating staircase. Our colorful first floor is home to the youth and audiovisual collections. Free WiFi, comfortable seating and dedicated staff make our Woods Branch a welcoming space for all.

Design, Record, Experiment, Access, and Make!

Visit our makerspace at the Woods Branch. Drop in hours Monday-Thursday 3pm-6pm, Tuesday 5pm-8pm, and Fri-Sat 1pm-4pm or by appointment.

Available at all branches

GPPL has mobile hotspots available for check out. Anyone 18 or older residing in the Grosse Pointe School District can check one out for a two week period and enjoy free access to the internet
