GPPL honors Veterans with celebration November 11
Boy Scout troop 273 raised the flag at the Central Branch along with a 10-piece brass band from Grosse Pointe South High School
To honor all Veterans, the Grosse Pointe Public Library hosted a celebration on Sunday, November 11 at its Central Branch, 10 Kercheval, Grosse Pointe Farms. The event was held on the outside patio around the flagpole.
A 10-piece brass band from Grosse Pointe South High School performed, Boy Scout Troop 273 presented the flag and Cub Scout Pack 19 said the pledge of allegiance. More than 50 people attended.
