Website Accessibility Toolbar - New Feature
Our "accessibility tool" Recite Me, launched in January on our website, has a new feature: Focus Text.
The Focus Text feature leverages the brain's natural ability to recognize word shapes and patterns quickly by bolding the most critical letters of words. This guides the eyes smoothly through the text, making it easier to read.
This method improves reading speed and comprehension, making online content more accessible to those with dyslexia, ADHD, and other reading challenges.
If you haven't tried The Recite Me Toolbar, it allows website visitors to view and use our website in a way that works best for them. Some of the functions you can use with Recite Me include:
- Read website text aloud
- Download the text to an MP3 file
- Change font sizes and colors
- Customize the background color
- Translate text into more than 100 languages
- Access a dictionary and thesaurus
To use Recite Me, click on the button (shown above) in the upper right-hand corner near the word Menu on every page of our website.
